The New York State Black Business Alliance performs an essential role in the economic viability of New York. As affirmed in its mission statement, the NYSBBA is dedicated to creating economic equity in corporate business, fair representation in governmental policy and sustainable job development for African American communities throughout New York State. The NYSBBA also serves as an advocacy group with a 501(c) 3 tax exemption.

Financial Literacy and Wealth Building
The New York State Black Business Alliance (NYSBBA) hosted a virtual panel discussion with Mr. Mike Warrington of Valley Bank and Mr. Chris Maher of OceanFirst Bank. Dr. John Harmon Sr., Founder and CEO of NYSBBA and AACCNJ moderated the conversation, where they discussed the importance of financial literacy and tools for creating generational wealth.
The New York State Black Business Alliance has been incorporated as a 501(c)(3) in accordance with the Internal Revenue Code and provides advocacy and support for businesses throughout the State of New York.
